Description

Confirmation is typically undertaken during a teen's Sophomore year - but Juniors and Seniors are more than welcome to our program!

Preparation for Confirmation at OLL is a communal journey exploring our Catholic faith. Jesus invites us to live life differently and build His Kingdom -- and ultimately, being Confirmed is about making an active choice to become a full member of the Church. The Holy Spirit gives us unique gifts through the Sacrament of Confirmation so that we can love God and our neighbor.

Our program is built around the idea of connecting with our faith in a very real way -- through Mass attendance, youth group participation (Life Teen), service projects, prayer, and peer connections.

September 25th: Registration Meeting, 1:30-3 pm in the Parish Hall for parents and teens.

A COPY OF THE YOUTH'S BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED

If you were not baptized at OLL, please contact the church where you were Baptized for a copy of your certificate if you do not have one.

Registration Fees: (Registration to Life Teen is included in your Registration)

$15 Early Bird Discount Available Until June 30

$125 Fee per Teen (registered parishioner)

$150 for per Teen (not registered at OLL parish)

*No teen is every turned away for lack of funds.

This fee covers cost of Life Teen materials, registration for the Called Rally, a Catholic Youth Bible, the Youth Catechism, guest speakers, snacks, and lesson materials & supplies.

*It does not cover the cost of the Confirmation Retreat.

Please consider donating to the scholarship fund for another youth. We make it a priority that every youth who wants to register for confirmation and receive the sacrament is able to do so.
